Asus launched the Asus Zenfone 5Z phone in India on July 4th at an event in Delhi. Actually Asus Zenfone 5Z was first launched in February at MWC event along with Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5 lite. But only Asus Zenfone 5Z phone is released into the Indian market. Asus Zenfone 5Z will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset and it will directly compete with OnePlus 6 and Honor 10 mobiles. Asus Zenfone 5Z comes with a 6.2-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio and is also having Corning gorilla glass protection. The phone comes with dual SIM hybrid slot with optional memory card support which can be expanded up to 256GB and it supports dual VOLTE service. The phone runs on Android Oreo 8.0 with it's own ZenUI 5.0 UI on top of it out of the box. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset which is Qualcomm's flagship processor with Adreno 630 GPU.

Coming to camera department the rear is a dual camera setup and the first is a 12MP camera with f/1.8 aperture and the second is a 8MP wide angles lens camera with f/2.0 aperture with Artificial intelligence support for cameras, while the front is a 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and also has face unlock feature.

Connectivity wise it has dual 4G VOLTE support, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, NFC, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, USB type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors wise it had all required sensors like fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, compass and others. The phone is having a 3,300 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging feature.

Asus Zenfone 5Z Price and release date
Asus launched Zenfone 5Z in three varaints in which the 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage model is priced at RS.29,999 and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at RS.32,999 and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at RS.36,999.

This phone is exclusively available at Flipkart from July 9th. It has a discount of RS.3,000 when bought this mobile from ICICI credit or debit cards and has Flipkart complete protection plan for just rs.499 and some cashback offers from JIO. At this event they even said the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB RAM + 128GB model will be made available from July 2018.
