Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play

Motorola launched the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play mobiles in Delhi, India at an event held today. Actually Moto G6 Series mobiles were globally launched in the month of April in Brazil along with Moto G6 Plus. But in India, Motorola had skipped the Moto G6 Plus mobile and launched other two devices. These devices are exclusive to Amazon and Flipkart. Both these will be available from June 5 among those e-commerce websites and Moto Hubs. Moto G6 will be compete directly with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, while the Moto G6 Play will compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.

Moto G6 will come with 5.7-inch display with FullHD+ resolution and have 18:9 aspect ratio screen. It runs in Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. The phone has proper dual SIM card slot and MicroSD card slot which can expand memory upto 256GB. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 450 octa core chipset with Adreno 506. 

Coming to camera department the rear is a dual camera setup with the first is a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and the second one is a 5MP sensor used for Bokeh effects and a led light. The camera app is redesigned and has dedicated bokeh mode, slow motion recording and other features. The front has a 16MP selfie shooter and has single led flash. It has beauty mode and effective low light mode which combines 4 pixels into one for better low light images.

Connectivity wise it has 4G Volte, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, FM radio, GPS/A-GPS, USB type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, face unlock. Coming to battery it has 3,000mAh capacity and has turbo charging feature.

Moto G6 Play will come with 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio screen called Max Vision display. The phone runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. It have dedicated dual SIM card and has separate MicroSD card slot. The phone runs on Snapdragon 430 octa core chipset with Adreno 505 GPU coupled by 3GB RAM.

Coming to camera department the rear is a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an led flash light. The front t is a 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and soft LED flash light.

Connectivity wise it has 4G VOLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth v4.2 and other required sensors. The phone has big 4,000mAh battery with Moto's turbo charging feature.

Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play Price details

Moto G6 will come in two varaints while the 3GB RAM/32 GB ROM is priced at RS.13,999 and the 4GB RAM/64 GB ROM is priced at RS.15,999. This will be exclusively available in Amazon from June 5th.
Moto G6 Play will be available in one variant with 3GB RAM/32GB ROM is priced at RS.11,999. This will be exclusively available in Flipkart from June 5th.
