For the last couple of months there have been a lot of leaks regarding the Moto G6 Series and finally they launched them officially yesterday i.e on April 19th at an event in Brazil. They launched three mobiles and they are Moto G6 Play which is entry level device in Moto G6 Series and Moto G6 is the middle one and Moto G6 Plus is the top in the model. Along with Moto G6 Series Motorola has also launched Moto E5 Series with Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play.
Moto G6 Play, Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus Specifications
Moto G6 Play has 5.7-inch HD+(720*1440) resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio display. It runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. This comes with dual SIM(nano SIM) support. The phone is powered by 1.4Ghz octa core snapdragon 427 SoC with Adreno 505 GPU. The phone comes in 2/3GB RAM variants with 16/32GB internal storage variants and can use micro SD card upto 128GB. Coming to camera department the rear is a 13MP with f/2.0 shooter with single LED flash while the front is a 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture with 80-degree wide angle lens.
The main feature in Moto G6 Play is the battery which comes with 4,000mAh capacity with 10W rapid charge support. Connectivity wise it had 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB port, 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with indigo and gold color options. The fingerprint scanner is at the back embedded in Motorola logo.
Moto G6 has 5.7-inch FullHD+(2160*1080) resolution screen with 18:9 aspect ratio display with corning gorilla glass 3 and also has corning gorilla glass back. It is powered by 1.8Ghz octa core snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. It runs on stock Android 8.0 Oreo. It has 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage variants. It also has dual nano SIM support. Coming to camera department the rear is having dual camera setup with 12MP Cera with f/1.8 aperture and 5MP secondary camera for Bokeh effect and dual LED flash, while the front has 8MP selfie shooter with single LED flash.
The battery is coming with 3,000mAh capacity with 15W turbo charge support and there is fingerprint scanner at the front below the screen. Connectivity wise it has dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.2, dual band WiFi, GPS and USB type-C port.
Moto G6 Plus has 5.9-inch FullHD+(2160*1080) screen with 18:9 aspect ratio display and corning gorilla glass protection while the back also has corning gorilla glass back. It is powered by 2.2GHz octa core snapdragon 630 SoC with Adreno 508 GPU. It will come with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage variants. It runs on stock Android 8.0 Oreo OS. Also supports the dual nano SIM card support. Coming to camera department the rear is having dual camera setup with 12MP camera with f/1.7 aperture and 1.4 Microns pixel size and dual pixel auto focus and a 5MP secondary camera for Bokeh effect with dual LED flash, while the front camera is 8MP selfie shooter with led selfie flash.
The phone has a battery of 3,200mAh capacity with 15W turbo charge support. The fingerprint scanner is on the front below the screen. Connectivity wise it has Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual band WiFi, dual SIM card, USB type-C port.
Moto G6 Series price and availability
They will be available in Brazil from launch date and Mexico and various countries in Asia Pacific including India will be available from next week. Europe and North America and Latin America will be having these in a few months. The Moto G6 Play is priced at $199(rs.13,000 approximately) and Moto G6 is priced at $249(RS.16,500 approximately) and Moto G6 Plus is priced at €299(RS.24,350 approximately). But there is no exact details of Moto G6 Series release date and price in India.
