ZTE launched the Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone with 5.99-inch with 18:9 display and has Snapdragon 835 SoC and 8GB RAM

ZTE's sub-brand Nubia had launched it's first gaming smartphone under it's Red Magic gaming brand as Nubia Red Magic phone at a conference in Beijing, China. This is released to compete with gaming phones like Razer Phone, Xiaomi's Black shark phone.

Nubia Red Magic phone will be available through Indiegogo for early bid price of $399 front the date 23rd April. The company says that it will reveal information related to pricing and availability of this device in the coming few weeks as it is currently launched and available only in China.

The Nubia Red Magic is coming with 5.99-inch FullHD+ display with 2.5D curved edge-to-edge screen with 18:9 aspect ratio display and 1500:1 contrast ratio. The Nubia Red Magic is powered by last year's flagship processor of qualcomm the snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540. But to say Qualcomm had already released 845 processor which is 2018 flagship processor and many devices are powered by this chip which powerful and efficient. It is disappointing as it is using Snapdragon 835 chipset as the latest xiaomi's Balck Shark phone is using Snapdragon 845 chip.

It has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It has a dedicated gaming button and when we press it, this activates GameBoost mode which frees up memory intensive resources and delivers higher frame rates. Coming to camera department the rear is a 24MP camera with Samsung 5K2X7SX sensor with f/1.7 aperture and supports upto 4K video recording with 30fps and slow motion 720p video recording at 120fps and has dual LED flash light. While the front is a 8MP selfie shooter with SK Hynix HI-846 sensor with 1.12 micron pixel size and f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity wise it has 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band WiFi 802.11, GPS, glonass, USB type-C port and dual SIM. It runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. It also comes.es with DTS technology and smart amplifier system for an immersive sound experience. The battery is having a 3,800mAh capacity and can provide 7 hours of gameplay with a single charge.

The phone is made out of aluminium body and designed for extended and comfortable gameing experience. The phone is using some advance thermal modeling techniques and is said to be the first device to use all new air convection cooling system which is said to cool the phone faster and company also said this phone will not heat much compared to other phones even after heavy gameplay usage.

The cooling system is designed in a way that it shares heat across it diamond cut design without decreasing the device performance. The rear of the phone also has a RGB LED light strip below the fingerprint scanner which is a special feature which stand out from other devices.
