Samsung had launched the Galaxy S9 and S9 plus globally at the MWC event which is held in February at Barcelona. Now they held an event in India and launched the Galaxy S9 and S9 plus mobiles in India. We got the release date, price details and other launch offers that come with this mobile after the public release. Now we get to know all information in detail regarding above details.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus will be launched in two variants with 64GB ROM and 256GB ROM variants. The 64GB variant of Galaxy S9 is priced at RS.57,900 while the 256GB varaint is priced at RS.65,900. Now the Samsung Galaxy S9 plus with 64GB varaint is priced at RS.64,900 while the 256GB variant is priced at RS.72,900. But there is no 128GB variant.

Now the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus devices will be available from March 16th across India via Flipkart, Samsung Shop and offline outlets. Already the preorders are being done with an initial payment of RS.2,000 and then pay remaining amount after getting the mobile.

A lot of launch offers are available from different Samsung and other network providers. Firstly RS.6,000 cashback is provided if users buy mobiles using HDFC credit or debit cards and there is also RS.6,000 paytm cashback available if we buy using paytm mall through both offline and online methods. An additional RS.6,000 cashback is provided by Samsung if we exchange older Samsung devices.

There are some cash back offers provided for Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus from some network providers. From using Airtel offer, we can buy the devices with RS.9,000 down payment and then pay RS.2,499 per month for next 24 months plus we will be getting 2TB of data in this paying period. The people who buy using this can also available a 'double data' offer on Airtel's infinity postpaid plans. With 499 infinity offer, users get 80GB of data, unlimited calling and one year Amazon prime membership which is worth RS.999. with 799 infinity offer, users get 120GB data, unlimited calling, one year Amazon prime membership and one free child connection. Both the above plans also offer free subscription to Airtel TV and Wynk Music.

Those who buy from Jio the users get exclusive offer of 1TB high speed 4G data with unlimited calling and SMS for one year which is worth RS.15,000 at only RS.4,999. Additionally users will get Jio prime membership as an complementary offer. 

The users of Vodafone will get free subscription to Netflix for a year on Vodafone red plans starting at RS.999 till April 30,2018. Also, prepaid users who recharge with RS.199 get unlimited calling and 1.4GB per day data and additional 10GB free data every month for next 10 recharges.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus is almost the same as Galaxy S8 series. But now that had improved the camera a little. The camera department contains dual variable aperture varying at f/1.5-f/2.4. The Galaxy S9 has single 12MP camera with variable aperture and Galaxy S9 plus has dual rear camera while first is same as S9 with dual variable aperture while the secondary camera is a telephoto lens for optical lossless zoom.

Both had AR Emoji feature which is like Apple's Animoji  which users turn themselves into an 3D emoji avatar and can be shared from the keyboard itself and other apps. Also both mobiles have Bixby vision in camera app which is used for live translations just by placing camera at the text.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus will be powered by Samsung's own exynos 9810 processor in India while in some places will come with snapdragon 845 processor. Both the devices comes with IP-68 water and dust resistant. It runs on Android Oreo out of the box with Samsung's own TouchWiz interface. Connectivity wise gigabit LTE, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. Both the devices has 8MP front camera with f/1.7 aperture. The rear camera of S9 and S9 plus can record super slow motion video at 960fps with 720p resolution.

The Galaxy S9 comes with 5.8 inch super AMOLED display and has 18.5:9 aspect ratio and comes with 3,000mAh battery. While Galaxy S9 plus sports a 6.2 inch super AMOLED display and has 18.5:9 aspect ratio and comes with 3,500mAh battery capacity.
