Xiaomi launched the Mix 2S today with Snapdragon 845 and dual camera setup

Finally, after a tons and tons of leaks and rumours Xiaomi had released the Mi Mix 2S as a successor to it's previous Mi Mix 2. Everything is set as the previous one except for the rear camera and the chipset in it.

The design is almost same with the same ceramic body and the screen design and it is hard to say about the design compared to Mi Mix 2. The screen size is increased by a millimeter both horizontally and vertically which is hard to recognize.

The phone comes with 5.99-inch and boasts the 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen is IPS panel which has Full HD+ resolution. On top of the screen it has a 2.5d curved glass across the screen. The front is completely same as Mi Mix 2 with same screen and same front camera placement at the bottom right.

The difference in design is seen on the back as it has the latest dual camera setup where the previous has a single one. The rear cameras will come with OIS and both have 12MP cameras. The first is a regular one with 1.4 micron pixel size and f/1.8 aperture(Sony's IMX363) and the other is a telephoto lens with 1.0 micron pixel size with f/2.4 aperture(Samsung's S5K3M3)

 It also has dual pixel autofousing for faster focus and multi frame NR which takes multiple shots and stack them to get clearer image. The front is a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The main difference is it has Snapdragon 845 chipset which is latest flagship processor for  both performance and efficient to use. It comes with Android Oreo based MIUI 9.5. It replaced Google assistant with it's own XaioAI.

Also there will be no headphone jack in this and also no IP protection. But now Mi Mix 2S has wireless charging support and Xiaomi provides a wireless charging pad of 7.5w separately for 16$.

The phone has a battery of 3400mAh capacity and support quick charge 3.0. it has dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual wifi bands and type-C port but support usb 2.0 features.

The phone priced at as 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM at 530$ and 6GB RAM and 128GB at 575$ and the 8GB RAM and 256GB at  640$. Sales will begin from April at Mi.com and Mi stores.
