Vivo had silently launched a new phone called Vivo Y81 in India on August 13th i.e yesterday. Vivo Y81 had already launched in Taiwan in the month of June. This phone is online exclusive and is priced for RS.12,990, considering the price point Vivo Y81 will compete with Redmi Note 5, Realme 1, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. Vivo Y81 comes with 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio screen and Vivo call it as ''Full View Display". This is a dual SIM card device with MicroSD card slot which can be used for expanding storage upto 256GB. Vivo Y81 comes in black and gold color options.

Vivo Y81 comes with Android Oreo 8.1 with their own custom UI called FunTouch OS 4.0 on top of it. Vivo Y81 will be running on MediaTek processor called Helio P22 chipset which is a octa-core processor and clocked at 2.0GHz and is coupled with 3GB RAM and has 32GB internal storage.

Coming to camera department the rear is a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and has an led flash light, this camera has panaroma, Bokeh shots using software and other features. The front is a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and has beauty mode and it has face unlock feature.

Connectivity wise it has 4G VOLTE, FM radio, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack. Vivo Y81 does not have fingerprint scanner instead it relys in face unlock feature which is not that secure. It has all other sensors like compass, gyroscope and others. Vivo Y81 is powered by 3,260mAh battery and has regular charger with 10W output.
