Samsung Galaxy On8 comes with 6-inch HD+(720p+) display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio which Samsung calls it the 'infinity display'. This is a proper dual sim card device with dedicated MicroSD card slot which can be used for expanding storage upto 256GB. The phone runs on Android Oreo 8.0 with Samsung's own UI called ExperienceUI. Samsung Galaxy On8 is coming with Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset which is good power efficient processor and is paired with 4GB of RAM and has internal storage of 64GB.

Coming to camera department the rear is a dual camera setup with the first is a 16MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture and the second is a 5MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and has led flash light. The front is an 13MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture. Samsung said that it had several features in cameras like AI features, background blur, live focus, portrait dolly and portrait backdrop effects.

Connectivity wise it has 4G VOLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB port, Bluetooth, GPS and other features. It has all required sensors except for 'auto brightness' sensor. The phone is powered by 3,500mAh battery with regular charger.

Samsung Galaxy On8 is online exclusive and available through Flipkart from August 6th onwards. This comes in one variant as of now with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and is priced for RS.16,990. This phone also has no-cost EMI feature and some mobile data offers.
