Honor which is owned by Huawei had launched a new device Honor Play in India at an event. Honor Play is mainly focussed on gaming and multimedia purpose. This phone is really affordable device which it comes with Huawei's flagship processor Kirin 970 and is the first device to come with GPU turbo feature.

Honor Play Specifications

Honor Play comes with 6.3-inch FullHD+ display which has 19.5:9 aspect ratio screen with notch at the top of the screen and has 2.5D curved glass. This is a dual SIM card device with hybrid slot which can be used to expand storage upto 256GB. Honor Play runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with Huawei's custom UI called EMUI 8.2. Honor Play is coming with Huawei's flagship processor HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset and has Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and this processor has separate neural engine for Artificial intelligence.

The main USP of Honor Play is this the first device which comes with GPU turbo which is a software feature, used to increase graphic performance of the device. This phone comes with 4/6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. This phone comes in black, blue, violet and red color options.

Coming to camera department the rear is a dual camera setup with the first is a 16MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and second is a 2MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture which is used for Bokeh effect and has led flash light. The front is a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture with led flash light. Both front and rear cameras have AI features.

Connectivity wise it has 4G VOLTE, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio, USB type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack. This phone has all required sensors like light, compass, fingerprint sensor, gyroscope and other sensors. Honor Play is powered by 3,750mAh battery with fast charging support.

Honor Play is coming in 2 variants with the 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage unit is priced for RS.19,999 and 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage unit is priced for RS.23,999. Honor Play will be available through Amazon and Honor online store from today i.e on August 6th 4PM onwards from Amazon.
