Samsung today in India launched the Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6 plus along with the Samsung Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 mobiles with infinity displays. Both the phone will be under Galaxy A- series. Samsung also introduced a new feature called'chat over video'with these mobiles that allows users to reply on whats app or messaging while watching the videos without stopping them. They also have AI camera for Samsung Mall and Samsung Pay Mini for mobile payments. There is a default camera app in these phones that has features like Bokeh effect and background blurring.

Samsung Galaxy A6 sports a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio screen. This is a dual nano SIM card and has dedicated MicroSD card slot. The phone runs on Samsung Experience UI on top of Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. The phone is powered by a 1.6GHz octa core Exynos 7-series chipset. The phone will come with 4GB RAM and 32/64 GB ROM varaints and can expand memory up to 256 GB ising MicroSD card. Coming to camera department the rear is a 16MP camera with f/1.7 aperture and the front is a 16MP selfie shooter with f/1.9 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras have single LED flash light.
Connectivity wise it has 4G Volte, wifi, bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, fingerprint scanner, face unlock feature and AI feature for object detection. The phone is coming with 3,000mAh battery capacity with micro USB port for charging. It comes in blue, black and gold color options.
Coming to price and availability the Galaxy A6 with 4 GB RAM+ 32 GB ROM is priced at RS.21,990 and the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM varaint is priced at RS.22,990. This device will be available from May 22nd via Paytm Mall, Flipkart, Samsung India e-store and Samsung offline stores. A cashback of RS.3,000 will be given back when bought it via Paytm Mall and the same cashback will be provided when bought it using ICICI credit cards. One time screen replacement on this when purchased it by June 20, 2018.
