Samsung had launched the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 along with the Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6 plus with infinity displays today in India. Both these phones are the mid-range devices under the Galaxy J-Series. Samsung also introduced a new feature called 'chat over video' with these mobiles that allows users to reply on whats app or messaging while watching videos without stopping them. They also have AI camera for Samsung Mall and Samsung Pay Mini for mobile payments.

Samsung Galaxy J6 sports a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio screen. This is a dual nano SIM mobile with dedicated SD card. The phone runs on Samsung Experience UI on top of Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. The phone is powered by Samsung's own SoC Exynos 7870 octa core chipset. The phone comes in 3/4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB ROM varaints and can expand storage upto 256 GB. Coming to camera department the rear is a single 13MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and front is a 8MP selfie shooter with f/1.9 aperture. Both front and rear cameras has single LED flash light.
Connectivity wise it has 4G Volte, wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, face unlock feature and AI feature for object detection, fingerprint scanner. The phone is coming with 3,000mAh battery with a micro-USB cable for charging. This comes in blue and gold color options.

Galaxy J6 sales will start from May 22nd via Paytm Mall, Flipkart, Samsung India E-store and samsung offline stores. A cashback of RS.1,500 will be given when bought it via Paytm Mall and same cashback will be provided when biught using ICICI credit cards. One time screen replacement is also there when purchased it by June 20, 2018.

The phone will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant and can expand storage upto 256 GB using SD card. Coming to camera department the rear is a dual camera setup with the first is a 16MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and another is 5MP camera for depth effects.
