Oppo launched Realme 1 phone in India with Helio P60 SoC and upto 6GB RAM and other details

Oppo had launched the first phone from it's Realme lineup called the Realme 1, which is the sub-brand of Oppo much like honor is to huwaei. Realme is mainly targeted for youth in India and this will be available through online mode which Oppo is doing this for the first time without bringing it to offline stores. This is an exclusive product and available via Amazon e-commerce website.

Considering the price point and the features the Realme 1 will be a direct competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 devices as the Realme 1 device is a premium mid-range device like the above mentioned ones. The company has also said to expect more devices under this brand. Also this product is a 'made in india' product.

Realme 1 specifications
The Realme 1 is a dual SIM device. It comes with 6-inch FullHD+(1080*2160 pixels) resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio and has 84.75 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by octa-core Mediatek Helio P60 SoC which is clocked at 2GHz which will be coming in 3 variants with 3/4/6GB RAM variants and also has the dual-core AI-specific chipset. The phone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with it's own UI called ColorOS 5.0 on the top.

Coming to camera department the rear is a 13MP Cera with f/2.2 aperture with LED flash while the front is a 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The company also said it is using Oppo's AI beauty 2.0 feature that along with beautification it also offers 296-point facial recognition. The phone also offers face unlock feature and it has no physical fingerprint scanner, and said the face unlock will unlock the phone in 0.1 seconds. It also has AR stickers, portrait shots mode in both the front and rear cameras. The rear also has 2x hybrid zoom function.

The phone comes in 3 storage options with 32/64/128 GB varaints and it also has dedicated MicroSD card slot along with dual sim card slot. Connectivity wise it has dual 4G volte support as Helio P60 SoC supports true dual 4G, wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and it also has 3,410 mAh battery capacity with 10W charger.

Realme 1 price, availability and offers

The Realme 1 is available in 3 variants and the 3 GB RAM/32 GB ROM varaint is priced at RS.8,990 while the 4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM varaint is priced at RS.10,990 while the 6 GB RAM/128 GB ROM varaint is priced at RS.13,990. The phone is available in diamond black, moonlight silver and solar red color options. Considering the price range this device will give very good competition to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.

The phone will be available from May 25th at 12PM via Amazon in India. On this date the 3 GB/32 GB variant and 6 GB/128 GB variant will be made available and the 4 GB/64 GB model will come a month later.
