Xiaomi's first flash sale of Redmi Note 5 series completed in less than 3 minutes and next sale on February 28th

Xiaomi on Thursday i.e on 22nd February launched the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 pro mobiles and it is said that almost 3,00,000 units of both the devices are sold in less than 3 minutes. But customers who participated in the sale told that it completed almost in seconds and about 10-15 seconds of the sale started it showed out of stock. The sale was held in Mi.com which is xiaomi's own website, Flipkart and Mi homes which are it's official offline stores. It also launches the Mi TV4 and all it's units are sold in the sale held at 2PM in the afternoon of 22nd feb.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 series and the Mi TV4 on February 14th and said that the first flash sale will be on 22nd February. As said the sale held and completed in seconds. Here the point is Xiaomi didn't disclose the individual number of units it sold, instead it gave a combined number of the three. The next sale of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 pro models will be available on 28th February and the Mi TV4 will be available on 27th February at 2PM tweeted Xiaomi India chief.

Of the two phones, the Redmi Note 5 is the cheaper phone. The phone has a 5.99-inch Full HD+ resolution with 1080p pixels. The phone runs on snapdragon 625 processor. The phone has a battery capacity of 4000mAh and there is fingerprint scanner on the back. Camera wise the rear is a 12MP with f/2.2 aperture and 1.25 microns. The front is a 5MP selfie shooter. It comes in 2 variants, one is 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and is priced at RS.9,999 and the second variant is 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM priced at RS.11,999.

Next is Redmi Note 5 pro which is a better model than the Redmi Note 5 and the device also comes with 5.99-inch Full HD+ screen with 1080p resolution. The phone runs on snapdragon 636 processor which is first phone with this processor. The phone also has 4,000mAh battery capacity and rear fingerprint scanner. Camera wise the rear is a dual camera setup with 12MP+5MP with f/2.2 aperture and the setup is used to take portrait shots. The front is a 20MP camera which also has soft flash and can also take portrait shots with software support. The rear camera also has EIS support for stabilization. It comes in 2 variants, one is 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM priced at RS.13,999 and second one is 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM priced at RS.16,999 respectively. Both the phones run on MIUI9 which customized version of Xiaomi and runs on Android nougat out of the box.

The Mi TV4 is a large 55-inch TV with 4K resolution. It also comes with HDR and Dolby support and is a smart TV with the ability to connect with WiFi and run apps like hotstar and other apps. This TV is available at a price of RS.39,999.
