Xiaomi had conducted an event in Delhi and launched new devices Redmi 6 series which will be successor to last year's Redmi 5 series mobiles. These Redmi 6 series are budget devices from 6k-11k pricing segment and all these devices has latest display setup, some AI features and others. Xiaomi had promised an update of Android Oreo 8.1 based MIUI 10 to all these devices in the future. Let us check all the details about the Redmi 6 series below.

Redmi 6A comes with 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio screen. It is a dual SIM device with dedicated MicroSD card slot upto 256GB. Redmi 6A runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with MIUI 9.6 on top of it. Redmi 6A is powered by MediaTek's quad-core Helio A22 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. This phone comes in black, gold, rose gold and blue color options.

Coming to camera department of Redmi 6A the rear is a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture with PDAF and  led flash light and the front is a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. And front camera also has face unlock feature.

Connectivity wise it has 4G VOLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB port. It has sensors like ambient light, compass, proximity and accelerometer and others but omitted fingerprint sensor. Redmi 6A comes with 3,000mAh battery with regular charger.

Redmi 6 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset with Adreno 506 GPU and coupled with 3/4GB RAM and has 32/64GB of internal storage. Redmi 6 Pro comes in red, black ,gold and blue color options.
