The latest what's app beta showed the payment option in the attachment list. Some users got the update both in Android and iOS versions. I got the update in Android and the update version is 2.18.46. This payment is done through the UPI(Unified Payment Interface). But this shows the list of banks and others but as it is still in beta testing the payments options are not out yet and payment is still not supported. This means the final version is ready to come out to all in a few days or weeks.

This option is seen in the attachment list where you see gallery, location, contacts, documents, music and others. In that now there is a new option called 'payment'. By clicking payment you will be redirected to another page. The option will be as in  below image.

There we can see it will display a message as verify your phone number which means it checks the mobile number and by verifying that it can easily link to bank account with out mobile number registered to the bank account. Then it will redirected to another page. The image to another page will be show below.

From the above image you can see it redirected to a page where different bank names are available to select the desired one. The page named ''select your bank' shows different banks and here you need to select your bank and link with the bank to your what's app to make payments through the app. As you can see I have selected a bank say 'SBI(state bank Bank of india)' and it is loading.
From previous image we selected a bank and now in the above image "couldn't link account" I have given correct number but still not linking. The reason for this is it is still in beta testing. This release is not the final one, so it is not taking the account. The final version will come in a few days to all the users as an update.

This UPI payments is first registered by WhatsApp in July 2017 and from then it is testing the service in the app. Lot of developers started accepting payments through their apps like Hike, Google text and others. Now it will be very easy and useful for payments using Whatsapp as there are 1.5 billion registered users. It will be a big advantage as there are a lot of users.
